What is Greeting Type?

The Presentation Type selection determines which Plan Contact information is displayed on the Participant Enrollment site for the Enrollment Greetings page, the Completed Enrollment page also on the Participant Enrollment Confirmation report.


Greeting Types

The Greeting Type is established as a default for all Plans to use in the Plan Settings / Plan Defaults tab. 

1. The selections are made using the drop down menu to change the Greeting Type field. The options are Generic, Primary Advisor (singular) or Primary Advisor (plural).

2. This is an auto save field. When a change is made to this field an auto save notification will display on the top of your screen.

Note: If there are already active Plans and a change is made to the Settings / Plan Defaults, the change will not automatically be made for the active Plans. Make changes to the existing / active Plan Presentation Type field as needed. See section below for Change Presentation Type on a Plan.


Greeting Type - Advisor 

Contains the Advisor Headshot or Company logo and the Advisor First and Last name. This information is displayed on the Participant Enrollment Greetings page with an intro statement which reads, "I’m 'Contact Name', the financial Advisor for your company’s retirement plan." 

The Advisor Contact Email and Phone Number are also displayed on the Completed Enrollment page unless the White Label used by the Plan selected to have the Other Contact method. In this case a different email and phone number displays on the Completed Enrollment page and on the Enrollment Confirmation report. (See link for White Label below). 


Greeting Type - Generic 

Contains the Advisor Headshot or Company logo. The Advisor Name fields are not displayed on the Participant Enrollment Greetings page and the intro statement is not displayed. 

The Advisor Contact Email and Phone Number are also displayed on the Completed Enrollment page unless the White Label used by the Plan selected to have the Other Contact method. In this case a different email and phone number displays on the Completed Enrollment page and the Enrollment Confirmation report. (See link for White Label below)


1. The Advisor and Generic Contact information comes from the data entered into the fields in Settings > Profile > Personal Details. The Primary Advisor Contact information here is used in the Advisor and Generic Presentation Type that will be displayed on the Enrollment site and on the Enrollment Confirmation report. 

1.2 Except when the  Other Contact info is selected in the White Label.

1.3 The Phone Number and Email Address entered in the Other Contact information section of the White Label will be displayed on the Enrollment site and on the report. The Other Contact information entered on the White Label is used in place of the Primary Advisor email address and phone number which was entered in the Plan Settings / Profile tab.

Change Greeting Type on a Plan 

The Greeting Type can also be changed on an individual Plan through the Plan Details / Experience Setup tab. The default selection will appear in the Greeting Type field. The Presentation Type selection can be changed on a Plan in any status.

1. From Plan Details select the Experience Setup tab.

2. Change the Greeting Type field by using the drop down menu. Select Generic or one of the Advisor options.

3. When edits are made to the Greeting Type field on an Active Plan, the edits are auto saved and made available immediately on the Participant Enrollment site. The Draft Plan edits are not visible on the Enrollment site until you click the Activation button.

4. An Auto Save message will appear at the top of the screen when the Greeting Type field is changed on any status Plan.
