How does iJoin determine expected rate of return for investments in the projected balance calculations?

For all investments iJoin uses the BlackRock expected 10 year returns for asset classes which are mapped to the Morningstar fund database. The return rates are typically updated each quarter when the new estimates are released. 

Note: Any investments not mapped to the Morningstar database are assumed a conservative 2% rate of return.  You can override any return rate for any number of investments tied to your plans under the Settings/Investments tab of the iJoin Administrative Portal.
